Trying to impose another gorilla pose on Tiny. It's a bit tricky actually.. The rig is kind of a biped/quadruped hybrid, with the back legs set up like a quad, but the arms set up like a biped. Also he's so muscular it's tricky to get a reverse C in the spine. Gotta keep playing with this rig for awhile i think. In any case, here's today's pose.

This rig is gonna take a few to get used to. He's all muscle, and pretty short in the torso, so it's a bit of a challenge to get good reverse C in the spine.. I'll Keep at it!
Hello everyone! I'm still working away on my robot fight test, but i got a little distracted by Batman Arkam City... What can i say the game is fricking awesome! I should have my first animation pass up shortly, definitely by the end of the week. In any case I'm already thinking forward to my next shot. In preparation i had to find some rigs and start playing with them, and what better way to practice with a new rig than the good ol' Pose-A-Day Challenge??
I'll probably be doing a few poses with this rig to get comfy before planning my next shot. The rig is called 'Tiny' by Chad Vernon. You can find it for free on creative crash at: http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/character-rigs/c/tiny--2/comments#tabs I was originally looking for a gorilla, but i can picture this dude moving a lot like a gorilla, so he should work fine for my next shot. Here's today's Pose using the Tiny rig: |
